Landslide and glow on Mount St Helens

The incandescent glow in the crater of Mount St Helens was active and visible in the Volcanocam images from sunset to sunrise this morning. There was a major outburst of activity beginning at 02:08 this morning. The outburst was clearly indicative of a major rockslide on the increasingly fractured lavadome.
